Avalue Technology USA to Deepen Collaboration with ChampVision, Expanding Privacy-Protected Digital Signage Applications in the U.S. Market
Avalue Technology Inc.(TPEx: 3479.TWO), a provider specializing in industrial computer solutions, is deepening its collaboration with ChampVision by combining Avalue’s system integration capabilities and local service experience in the North American market with ChampVision’s technological strengths in industrial displays. Together, the two companies aim to expand privacy-protected digital signage terminal applications across the United States.
Avalue recently showcased its privacy-protected display solution at InfoComm, demonstrating the integrated achievements of both companies in smart display applications. The solution has already been adopted by ticketing machines for Japan’s Shinkansen, highlighting its maturity and reliability in high-traffic public transportation environments.
As digital signage adoption accelerates across financial, healthcare, and public service sectors in the United States, display devices are evolving from one-way information broadcasting tools into intelligent interfaces that integrate interactive services, data inquiries, identity verification, and transaction processes.
According to Mordor Intelligence, the U.S. digital signage market size is expected to reach USD 9.07 billion in 2025 and grow to USD 13.81 billion by 2031, reflecting continued demand growth in North America for smart displays and interactive terminals.
Alongside the rapid development of market applications, the need for personal data protection on display devices is also increasing. As digital signage expands into self-service, financial transactions, medical information inquiries, member login, ticketing, and public service applications, screen content may involve personal data, payment information, or other sensitive information.
Through this collaboration, Avalue and ChampVision will use switchable viewing-angle privacy display technology as a key differentiator, helping customers build next-generation smart terminal applications that support public display, interactive services, and private data operations.
In the second quarter of last year, Avalue Technology’s Board of Directors approved a strategic investment in ChampVision, making Avalue its largest shareholder. ChampVision offers integrated capabilities across optics, mechanical design, and electronic control, and has accumulated deep technical expertise in high-brightness displays, color calibration, touch integration, thermal design, and harsh-environment applications. These strengths are highly complementary to Avalue’s development direction in smart terminals and vertical markets.
The privacy-protected display solution highlighted by the two companies features an external, plug-and-play design, enabling existing terminal devices to be upgraded quickly. In general-use scenarios, the screen can maintain a public wide-viewing-angle mode. When users enter personal information, conduct financial transactions, or access medical records, the display can switch to a high-brightness narrow-viewing-angle mode to reduce the risk of shoulder surfing and strengthen privacy protection and user trust.
Avalue Technology stated that this technology is especially well suited for the rapidly growing smart self-service and digital signage application scenarios in the United States, including ATMs and banking self-service terminals, medical information inquiry systems, digital voting, retail self-service kiosks, transportation ticketing machines, and public service inquiry terminals. Moving forward, Avalue will continue to deepen its collaboration with ChampVision across products, technology, and market development.
